KAUR Strategies LLC is led by Indira Ahluwalia. Indira is a senior executive and trusted advisor with 25 years of experience in federal government contracting and management consulting with an emphasis on international development and promoting diversity and inclusion. In 2002, Indira established Development & Training Services, Inc. (dTS) to inculcate equality, accountability, and sustainability in international development. With work in 90 countries, dTS was named the Small Business of the Year by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in 2014. In 2015, Indira facilitated the acquisition of dTS by Palladium; and founded KAUR Strategies LLC in January 2017 to provide executive coaching, corporate advisory, and diversity consulting services. Indira has served as the Chairperson of the Small Business Association for International Companies (SBAIC), is a founding member of the Council of International Development Companies (CIDC), was a Board Member at Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund (SALDEF), and currently serves on the Let’s Make it Possible Board. In 2013, Indira was awarded the Professional Services Council Outstanding Achievement Award for leadership. She was named the Sikh Business Woman of the Year in 2015 by the Sikh Directory, and was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award by George Mason University in the same year. Indira earned her Masters of Arts in International Relations from University of Chicago in 1991, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with Distinction from George Mason University in 1990.
